Read through the New Testament Book of Colossians and pray its truths for Mike and Barbara, and their children, Sarah and Josh

Bless Mike and Barbara with fruit in every good work (1:10); may they grow in the knowledge of God

Grant Mike and Barbara to be strengthened with all power (1:11); may they have great endurance and patience, and be joyful with friends and family

Rescue Mike and Barbara from darkness to light (1:13); help them to walk in forgiveness and freedom


Reveal The supremacy of Jesus to Mike and Barbara (1:15-20)

Magnify Jesus in Mike and Barbara as the hope of glory (1:27); at home, work, relationships, campus life, national ministry

Honor Mike and Barbara to proclaim Jesus (1:28); believe God for divine energy to practice the message of Jesus and teach others (1:28)


Bestow On Mike and Barbara encouragement to know the mystery of God in Christ (2:2)

Give Mike and Barbara all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge (2:3)

Allow Mike and Barbara to live in Jesus…rooted and built up with faith (2:7)

P.S. Allow Mike and Barbara to walk in thankfulness…to move mountains in faith…to walk in the blessing of God…to have an increasing influence for the Kingdom


Set Mike and Barbara’s hearts on things above (3:1); protect their mind (3:2) from paranoia, fear, vain imaginations, confusion

Loosen Holiness in Mike and Barbara’s life (3:5-12); rid their life of the works of the flesh (3:8-9); may they put on compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, patience (3:12)

Manifest Your love, O Lord, in Mike and Barbara (3:13); let them forgive (3:13); fill them with your love (3:14)


Request Peace to rule in Mike and Barbara (3:15); that they be thankful (3:15)

Let The word of God dwell in Mike and Barbara’s hearts richly (3:16)

Believing All to be done in Jesus’ holy name (3:17)


Devote Mike and Barbara to prayer, being watchful and thankful (4:2)

Open The door for Mike and Barbara to proclaim the mystery of Jesus (4:3)

Fill Mike and Barbara with wisdom and grace concerning their relationships with outsiders (4:7); may they practice conversation that stirs up questions in others

“Epaphras, who is one of you and a servant of Christ Jesus…he is always wrestling in prayer for you, that you may stand firm in all the will of God, mature and fully assured.” Colossians 4:12
